Overview

The Olympus E-M5 Mark III Mirrorless Micro 4/3 Camera (Black) With 14-150mm f/4-f/5.6 II Lens is a mirrorless, micro four thirds camera, that features a highly-compact physical design, optimal speed, high accuracy, & an overall flexible composition, & features an included M.Zuiko ED 14-150mm f/4-f/5.6 II Lens. The E-M5 Mark III features a 20.4MP MOS sensor, & TruePic VIII image processor, to provide continuous shooting rates at up to 10 fps with a mechanical shutter, & up to 30 fps with an electronic shutter. The E-M5 Mark III also supports DCI & UHD 4K video recording.

Due to the combination of its MOS sensor, & image processor, the E-M5 Mark III is able to reach a sensitivity level of up to ISO 25600, while its featured, 5-axis image stabilization system, provides up to 6.5 stops of camera-shake compensation, to provide sharper handheld shooting. The incorporated phase-detection points & contrast-detection areas (121, Each), allows the E-M5 Mark III to afford fast & accurate autofocusing.

A vari-angle, touchscreen LCD monitor, is featured to enable working from high, low, & front-facing angles. Built-in Bluetooth & Wi-Fi connectivity provides you with the ability to transfer your content wirelessly, & enables remote-control over the E-M5 Mark III from linked, compatible devices. Its splash, dust, & freeze-proof construction also features a weather-sealed body, to accomodate working in unpleasant weather conditions.

Included in this bundle-pack, is an M.Zuiko ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II Lens, which spans a wide-angle, to telephoto range. The M.Zuiko 14-150mm is an all-in-one zoom, specially designed for mirrorless Micro Four Thirds cameras, & provides a 28-300mm equivalent focal length.

The lens features one, dual super-aspherical element, one aspherical element, two E-HR elements, & one high-refractive, index element, to reduce distortion & spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range, while increasing resolution & sharpness in your images. An EDA element, & ELD element are also applied, to reduce chromatic aberrations & color fringing, while improving clarity & color accuracy.

Olympus also includes their own "Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical" (ZERO) coating, to minimize flare & ghosting, while improving contrast & color fidelity, which is extremely helpful, when working in stronger lighting conditions. The lens features a dust, freeze, & splash-proof physical design, to guarantee its regular performance, during harsh weather conditions.

Focus:

The Olympus E-M5 Mark III features an advanced autofocus system, that combines phase-detection points (121-Points), with contrast-detection areas (121-Areas), to provide a fast & precise focusing performance. All of the phase-detection points are cross-type, which further improves your focusing accuracy, & subject tracking capabilities, in a variety of lighting conditions.

A number of focusing modes are included, for the following situations: general use, moving subjects, smaller/distant subjects, close-up moving subjects, & close-up stills. Custom autofocus targets can be set, when working within the 121-point grid. An AF Limiter Function allows you to restrict your focusing distance, within a specified range, for an even more responsive performance.

The included M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II Lens features a "Movie & Still Compatible" (MSC) AF system, which provides a fast & precice focusing performance.

The E-M5 Mark III features a high-resolution 20.4 MP Live MOS sensor, that works with its TruePic VIII image processor, to achieve fast shooting, a sensitivity range of ISO 200-25600, & flexible 4K video-recording capabilities.

The 20.4 MP sensor is ideal for stills of moving subjects, & allows the E-M5 Mark III to provide a full-resolution, continuous shooting rate of 10 fps, for up to 150 consecutive RAW files, with the use of its mechanical shutter. Through the use of its silent-electronic shutter, it can reach up to 30 fps (with single-shot AF), for up to 23 consecutive RAW frames. The electronic shutter also enables 10 fps shooting (with continuous AF), for up to 152 consecutive RAW frames. 

Screen:

The E-M5 Mark III features a rear, 3.0" (1.04m-dot), vari-angle LCD monitor, which enables high, low, & front-facing shooting capabilities. The LCD monitor also features touchscreen capabilities, providing easy menu-navigation, & image playback. A "Live-View Boost" function is featured to enhance the monitor's brightness, & prioritize the camera's frame-rate, while working in darker lighting conditions.

The 20.4 MP E-M5 Mark III features sensor-shift image stabilization, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake, by up to 5.5 stops of compensation, to ensure sharper handheld shooting during telephoto, macro, & long exposure applications, where movement is especially noticable. The system works across five axes to compensate for horizontal angle rotation, vertical angle rotation, horizontal shift, vertical shift, & rolling camera-shake movement. The range of movement is designed to benefit both still, & video applications, while improving your ability to work effectively with moving subjects. The E-M5 Mark III  is capable of reaching up to 6.5 stops of shake-compensation, when paired with select lenses that feature optical imgae stabilization.

The E-M5 Mark III's sensor & image processor support both DCI (4096 x 2160), & UHD (3840 x 2160) 4K video. A 24 fps frame-rate, IPB compression, & 237 MB/s bit-rate, are used when working in DCI. UHD 4K is available in frame-rates up to 29.97p, with a 102 MB/s bit-rate, while Full HD 1080p, & HD 720p recording is also supported. A built-in, stereo microphone, allows for audio-recording, & an external microphone jack is featured for improved audio-recording.

Time-Lapse Movie Mode is featured, in 4K UHD resolution, with a 5 fps shooting rate, to enhance the movement & changes of your subject, over an extended period of time. The E-M5 Mark III also supports Full HD & HD time-lapses.
