You demand the best. Our autofocus system delivers. The heart of our technologically advanced system is 121-point all-cross type on-chip Phase Detection AF. It does one thing really well: locking focus on any subject, in any environment. Each AF point is cross-type for reliable vertical and horizontal tracking. The points are spread across the entire image sensor for maximum autofocus coverage. You’ll capture fast-moving subjects and split-second action every time.
PRO CAPTURE
The most challenging shot in photography is capturing action that’s quicker than the blink of an eye. Think of the instant a salmon swimming upstream breaks through the water and disappears. Pro Capture Mode nails those near impossible shots. It starts buffering a running series of 20MP images when you press the shutter button halfway. At the moment you want to capture, press the shutter button fully. You’ll get that moment, plus the buffered shots. Because you can go back 14 frames, you’ll have the exact shot you want. 5-AXIS SYNC IS

50MP HIGH RESOLUTION SHOT
Taking a 50MP photo is as easy as setting up a tripod and attaching the E-M5 Mark III. Our Tripod High Res Shot Mode does the work. The image sensor automatically moves in 0.5 pixel increments while taking 8 shots in under a second. The shots are merged together creating one unbelievably detailed, super-sharp image.

Wirelessly connect the camera to your smart device via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Install the free OI. Share app to easily transfer images to your phone for instant editing and uploading.
CUSTOMIZE
CUSTOM MODE
If you’re into a specific type of photography, you may have a favorite setting. Now they can be accessed instantly. Just turn the mode dial to the Custom setting and shoot. Your go-to settings are also transferable. Save them to your computer with Olympus Workspace and the Olympus Digital Camera Updater. You can then copy them to another camera or send to your friends with the same model camera.
