Overview

The Nikon AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mmE ED VR Lens is a telephoto zoom lens, designed for FX-format Nikon F-Mount DSLRs, & can also be used with DX models, where it will provide a 105-450mm equivalent focal length range. The lens is made to cover a comfortable, portrait-to-telephoto range, & features one extra-low dispersion element for the reduction of chromatic aberrations & color fringing, allowing for greater clarity & color accuracy in your images. A Super Integrated Coating has also been applied to individual lens elements, suppressing internal reflections, flare, & ghosting, for improved color accuracy & contrast when working in strong lighting conditions.

The NIKKOR 70-300E ED VR Lens features an AF-P Pulse Motor, which uses stepping motors to provide a fast, quiet, & smooth autofocusing performance that benefits both stills & video applications. The lens is also capable of full-time manual focus override, & features an internal focusing design that only moves internal lens groups during focusing, helping to maintain the overall length of the lens during use. The internal focusing design also is designed to promote faster focusing speeds.

Vibration Reduction image stabilization is featured, to minimize the appearance of camera shake by 4.5 stops, which greatly improves your handheld shooting experience in difficult lighting conditions. Greater control stability, for working with fast continuous shooting rates, is provided by a specialized, electromagnetic aperture mechanism. A rounded nine-blade diaphragm is featured to provide a pleasing "bokeh" quality, during the use of selective focusing techniques.
