The Hall Research CHD-AP15 4K Javelin Plenum Fiber Optical HDMI Cable is based on the optoelectronic technology for transmitting high-quality UHD 4K signals at distances more than copper cables. Its hybrid construction includes both fiber optic and copper that offer a transmission range of more than 330 feet with no loss in quality. Along with UHD 4K support, the cable can also transmit all PC and HDTV resolutions. The cable is HDCP-compliant and supports DDC protocol and CEC function of HDMI devices. With the proprietary circuitry, the video signals are converted into light pulses at the source end and re-converted to video signals at the destination. It offers immunity from EMI or RFI interference. The cable ensures zero compression to maintain video resolution and reduces the possibilities of video dropouts caused by environmental electromagnetic noise. The cable is Plenum-rated to allow installation in any structure.
