The Elinchrom Rotalux Deep Octa Indirect 150cm is a unique light shaping tool that offers several different qualities of light depending on how the diffuser and speed rings are employed. When the Deep Octa is configured like a standard softbox, it acts as a combination of a large reflector and a silver umbrella offering a broad coverage and crisp rendition of minute details. When the front diffuser is attached to the softbox, it provides a soft, wrap-around light. As it has a depth of 29 inches, the softbox lets you use the “indirect” speed ring to bounce the light back into the softbox for an added degree of contrast.
