Overview
Aluminum monopod weighing you down? Ditch that heavy piece of metal for Delkin’s Fat Gecko Monopod. At only ¾ lb, the monopod’s ultra-light weight makes it easy and convenient to carry around. Made of 8 layers of carbon fiber using a Z-weave pattern, the Fat Gecko Monopod has proven to be highly durable and can hold up to 30 lbs.
As it is not made of metal, the monopod will also neither corrode nor tarnish. With its unique 5-section design, the monopod sets up and breaks down in a matter of seconds. Simply unstrap the monopod and it will practically assemble itself. It can fold down to 16 inches and reach up to 57 inches when assembled. The built-in metal spike, with removable rubber stopper, at the bottom of the leg provides extra stability on rocky or uneven ground. A standard 3/8” post with a Fat Gecko 1/4"-20 locking ball head is included with the monopod, which can be used to mount any DSLR, camcorder, or compact camera.
Whether you are travelling, photographing nature, or just need to stabilize your camera, the Fat Gecko Monopod provides the high-quality and durability of a high end carbon fiber monopod at a fraction of the weight and cost. If you want the lightest, strongest, and most durable compact monopod made in the USA, Delkin’s Fat Gecko Monopod is for you!
