The Canon RF 50mm F/1.2 L USM Lens is perfect for capturing portrait shots and close-ups. It is meant for the new Canon RF-mount cameras. The lens comes with 15 elements in 9 groups that have a UD element and an aspherical glass to restrict both chromatic and spherical aberrations. The ring-type Ultra Sonic Motor AF system has optimized focusing algorithm along with a fast CPU to ensure quick and quiet autofocus performance. You may also manually override the focus parameters any time during the autofocus operation. The fast aperture of f/1.2 allows shooting in low light as well as provides a shallow depth of field. A configurable control ring is incorporated to allow adjustment of ISO, aperture, and exposure compensation without going through the camera menu. The 10-blade diaphragm improves the depth field by inducing rounded light circles in the out-of-focus background. As the lens body is weather-resistant, it can be used in harsh weather conditions without any worry.
