The Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM Lens sports a fast aperture and silent autofocus motor that prove beneficial to both image and video capture. Designed for Canon EF-M mirrorless cameras, the lens construction uses 14 elements in 8 groups. A single aspherical is included in the lens design to correct distortion at the edges of the image. The application of a super spectra coating reduces flare and ghosting significantly. As for the autofocus operation, the lens has a gear-type STM stepping motor that keeps a silent profile and ensures accurate results. The rounded 7-blade diaphragm and a wide aperture of f/1.4 creates a shallow depth of field with circular light iris. A 43mm circular filter can be attached to the front thread.
