Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens - White

I just got my copy here only a few days ago and went for my first test shots today. 1) Fast to focus despite not having a range switch. 2) Friendly for travel by size not by weight. 3) Very sharp throught out entire range, just sharpest 70-200+. 4) very shallow depth of field indoors, similar to my 100L. 5) color output is Canon L, but seems to have or add more dynamic range in shadows. 6) goes to 480mm on a crop body. 7) works better then expected with high ISO's on my 5Dmk3 3200-6400 then expected. 8) will push air in and out of body, no rear element. 9) doesn't come with tripod collar, not included. 10) only 67 threads in frount, I use a step up 77 ring for filters. I really like what they did here and this will open up a new Photographic area I have not got a chance to study. Sports and wildlife. I'm under the impression the non L version might work well also but never tested it. I traded my 70-200 f2.8L ii for this lens because of my needs and didn't use the f2.8 much becasue of the limited range. I love what this lens is sjhowing me so far and haven't even touched some the macro capabilities yet. indoors I will be using my travel flash 270ex and exposure compensation for fill lighting and not concerd with the smaller apertures.
