Overview

The Benro Master 100 x 100mm ND Filter is a neutral density filter with a 64x filter factor, which provides a 6-stop exposure reduction. Its 1.8 density darkens entire image, allowing you to photograph using a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than what is normally required. Increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time allows for control over depth of field, and allows for you to capture movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not have an impact on coloration of the image, and are ideal for pairing with other filters. To prevent reflections and internal ghosting, each glass surface includes multiple layers of anti-reflection coating. The coatings provide greater protection to the filter and help it to stay clean. The Nano coating associated with the neutral density filters provides an additional 13th layer over each side of this filter, providing a beading effect when in contact with water, allowing for greater cleaning efficiency. This filter is constructed from 2mm thick SCHOTT B270 glass, and creates optical clarity as well as color fidelity.
