Overview
The Atomos Shogun Inferno 7-inch Recording Monitor allows you to review the captured video on-location. Its IPS capacitive touchscreen offer a resolution of 1920×1200 dpi and 1500 cd/m² of brightness. The 10-bit FRC processing and AtomHDR display technology provide brightness limit of 10 stops, which ensures accurate monitoring of log gamma footage without any flat and washed out images. With the built-in presets, you can translate log formats prevalent in the industry such as Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, and more. Along with the HDR monitoring, the Atomos Shogun Inferno has a High Bright mode for standard Rec. 709 monitoring. The monitor has HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI inputs to support 4K output signals at 60 fps. Its built-in Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHR codecs offer 10-bit video recording to 2.5-inch SSDs. The monitor can be remotely operated thanks to its LANC slave configuration support as well as HDMI and SDI trigger. This monitor has an ABS polycarbonate body with a built-in protective armor having silicone-covered corners and chamfered edges. The monitor runs on Sony-L series batteries that can be inserted into its dual power slots for an uninterrupted operation.
