If you have visited the store in these past couple weeks, you may have noticed a lot of hard hats and heavy duty cranes. No, we're not tearing down the place...there's a saying: "The road to perfection is always under construction." I'm not sure who this quote belongs to, but there's another by a famous amphibian philosopher that I quite enjoy: "It's not easy being green." It might be difficult for a muppet, but we at Unique Photo have decided that taking the initiative to embrace renewable energy is worth all the construction. As you may know, we're all about you, but we're also all about being kind to the earth. Right now there are a total of 1,034 Solar Panels absorbing enough energy to produce 295 kWh. Prospectively this will generate roughly 340,000kW per year! We would like to give props to the workers enduring the intense heat up there (I for one, couldn't be up there for more than 15 minutes without getting heatstroke and vertigo...) and also you, the customer, for not crashing into their ladders.
