Unique Photo and Hurricane Sandy

As many of you already know, the superstorm Sandy devastated the east coast this week, hammering thirteen states with snow, 90+ mile-per-hour winds, and flooding leaving millions without power. Our store, along with thousands of other homes and businesses, is currently still without power since the storm started early Tuesday morning. We are working our hardest to regain power as quickly as possible, but for the time being, the store will be open solely on generator power. We have plenty of batteries, flashlights, and other emergency supplies in stock, and we'll be open until the sun goes down until further notice.

We sincerely hope that everyone out there in the affected areas are safe and sound while the recovery efforts continue.

Collected here are photos and videos from the storm, before and after. If you've taken any, please submit them in the comments below.

This is a time lapse video taken by the New York Times during the entire storm. It starts to get really scary around 2:41.
Have you tried to buy gasoline yet? Then this is a familiar scene. This raw footage, shot via iPhone 4, was taken at a Gulf Station in Clifton by Dan Schenker.
