Unlike so many other cloud-based storage services, MyShoebox allows free members to upload an unlimited amount of pictures at the expense of limited size. File sizes are capped at a friendly "web resolution" of 1024px, which isn't too bad if you're just trying to share with friends and family. Five bucks a month allows you to upload any size photo as long as it's under 20MB. Doesn't sound to bad to me. What's more is the site is integrated throughout your armada of electronic devices; from computer to tabelet to smartphone. The site just opened only two weeks ago and it's reached 1.9 Million Photos with an average of 2,600 photos per user. Seems like people are enjoying the idea of quantity over quality!
What about all your old memories? The pictures that aren't in zeros and ones... SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT. Unique Photo has this outrageous deal: We give you a modestly sized shoebox (I'd say around size 12 wide), you fill it with as many any old photographs that will fit and we'll scan and archive them for you. All this for $99. Chances are those old photographs are already fading so having a digital backup is a good idea in case you need to replace them.
