FDR-AX53 4K Handycam
The new FDR-AX53 4K Handycam® camcorder is equipped with a new 20x optical zoom ZEISS® lens, as well as a high-sensitivity image sensor with a pixel size that is approximately 1.6 times greater than in the current 4K Handycam model*. The FDR-AX53 also features Balanced Optical SteadyShot™ technology, which suppresses blur in all shooting modes, right from wide shots to close-ups, and enables crisp, high-resolution image capture in 4K, even when shooting from a distance. It also comes with a new Fast Intelligent AF and a new microphone structure that records high stereo sound and faithfully captures the original audio. In every sense, from image clarity to audio quality, the FDR-AX53 is a sizable leap forward. “4K continues to grow in popularity, reaching more households now than ever before. HD Handycams - HDR-CX675 and HDR-CX455
The HDR-CX675 model features a new and improved form of Balanced Optical SteadyShot with motion analysis. In this new 5-axis ‘Intelligent Active mode’ of stabilization, the camera utilizes a motion analysis system to intelligently optimize the 5-axis image stabilization based on the level of external motion. This will result in stable footage from wide-angle to telephoto, even if the person filming is running or jogging after a subject. The new HDR-CX455 is equipped with Optical SteadyShot stabilization with Intelligent Active mode, which compensates camera shake in 5-axis which enables you to shoot stable high-quality movies even while jogging lightly, especially at a wide angle. Each of the new HD models have several other convenient features, including XAVC S™ high bit rate recording, a 5.1 channel microphone, and My Voice Canceling, which minimizes the sound of the shooter's voice during recording. They are also equipped with Highlight Movie Maker, Multi Camera Control, and much more.
HDR-AS50 Action Cam, newest in the Action Cam lineup
Sony Electronics, a worldwide leader in digital imaging, has today introduced the latest addition to its acclaimed Action Cam POV camera lineup, the HDR-AS50 model. The new camera brings the benefits of Sony’s latest and most innovative video technologies to more customers than ever before, including SteadyShot™ image stabilization, smooth zoom, field angle adjustability, high-bit rate XAVC S™ video recording, and 4K Time-lapse capture. There is also a new, smaller, lighter Live-View Remote that acts as a perfect complement to the new Action Cam. It is offered together with the camera in a kit, model HDR-AS50R. The new action camera features an 11.1-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor that is paired with a ZEISS® Tessar lens, and utilizes SteadyShot image stabilization to keep footage steady and smooth when shooting everything, from motocross stunts to aerial landscapes. The stabilization system is also specially tailored to reduce low amplitude vibration that is typically caused by radio-controlled helicopters or drones. New to the HDR-AS50, users can now adjust the field angle of a shot with ‘wide’ and ‘narrow’ options available to ensure that the scene is captured properly, based on the environment. The new camera also features an enhanced 3x smooth zoom, allowing shooters to get even closer to the action during movie recording. Based on extensive feedback from athletes, filmmakers, and more casual users, the HDR-AS50 offers an enhanced interface with larger, more intuitive icon and button operability. Additionally, the new Live-View Remote acts as an extension of the camera, with the ability to fully control its capabilities, including start/stop recording, power on/off, and more. Thanks to its versatile design, the remote can also be attached to various accessories, such as Shooting Grip (model VCT-STG1) and Handlebar Mount (model VCT-HM2), using the supplied mount adaptor, or worn as a wristband using supplied strap.
