How cool would it be to have a voice controlled robot companion that also serves as your own personal photographer? Sounds like something out of the Jetsons, but thanks to Always Innovative, the distant future isn't all that far away.
As the gruff voice from the video explains, the MeCam is a strange little voice controlled helicopter with an attached micro camera that can capture stills and stream video straight to an Android device. With it's 3 stabilization algorithms and 14 real-time sensors this little plain can literally fly circles around your head without reenacting Black Hawk Down. Other specs include a 1.5 GHz Cortex-A9 processor with 1GB of RAM, micro-SD storage and WiFi/Bluetooth capabilities so that you can share your pictures and videos with social media sites. Although the MeCam is still in development, the developers are suggesting that the the little copter-cam can retail for as low as $50.
