Nikon has unveiled their latest flagship HD-SLR camera, the Nikon D4s. It features the latest EXPEED 4 image processor, making it 30% faster than its predecessor. Nikon D4s has an updated 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and can shoot with a native ISO up to 25600 or up to 409600 with ISO expansion resulting in clean images even in low lighting conditions. Time lapse and interval shooting have been revamped with the ability to record up to 9999 shots along with a EN-EL 18a lithium ion battery which allows you to take up to 3020 shots in one single charge. The proven Advanced Multi-CAM 3500FX 51-point AF system is continued including 3D tracking and Auto Area AF. It utilizes a 3D color matrix metering III system with a 91-k pixel RGB sensor, also allows face priority analysis to be turned on and off with custom settings unlike the D4. The D4s also features fine-tuning of the LCD colors to match those on an external monitor. Apart from these improvements, D4s also has better video capture capability and can transfer images up to 10x faster compared to its predecessor. The camera is priced at $6499.95 and should be available for purchase from March, although it is available for pre-order as of now. Click here to pre-order the Nikon D4s.
