Taking pictures with your camera can be often be a blurry affair. With all sorts of crazy attachments that range from novelty to quasi-professional, it seems like the next logical step would be to create a remote shutter release for your phone. I know some of you are already shaking your heads violently at this...but here's the Gizmon iCA Remote Shutter for iOS. Thanks to this eye-roll inducing product, you can snap pictures without having to touch your phone. Considering this was made by a Japanase novelty accessory company, the almost too ironic shutter looks like a roll of film. I don't know what you were expecting. It's all yours for the price of $23 and comes in red, green, and yellow.
If you're sitting there saying: "Hey, wait a minute buddy...That's looks like a normal headphone wire with a button attached.." That's because it essentially is. If you have an iPhone/Pad/whatever you can just use the volume up key to take a shot. Using any set old pair of headphones with a volume rocker, you can do the same for a lot cheaper.
If you're a Droid user and feel left out, this method unfortunately doesn't work with the native camera app (On Ice Cream Sandwich at least). However, the headphone trick works with apps like Camera 360 which allow you to customize buttons on your phone.
Well, looks like there's no going back now. It's only a matter of time before they do something crazy and make a wireless remote...
