If you were sitting around thinking "Wow, the Go Pro Hero 3 is great...but what if it was better?" Well my hypothetical friend, you're in luck. GoPro has just released the Hero 3+. What does this plus symbol entail? This small wonder somehow got 20% smaller and lighter than before with a new f/2.8 lens which they're boasting is 33% sharper. The sound has been improved with different microphone locations, WiFi is said to be more responsive and even the waterproof casing has been redesigned to be less bulky. New to the mix is a 1080 SuperView mode making 4:3 aspect ratio look even wider at a 16:9 view, as well as a new auto-low light mode which adjusts frame rate on the fly. After all these improvements, the Hero 3+ somehow gains a 30% increase in battery life! While all of this pertains to their flagship Black edition, the silver edition gets some improvements as well: 1080p @ 60fps, and 720 at 120 fp for super slow mo. The Hero3+ will be available soon starting at $299 for the Silver edition, and $399 for the black.
