Vic Gundotra, Sr. VP of Engineering at Google, announced via his Google+ page that Nik Software, makers of such products as HDR Efex Pro and Color Efex Pro 4, would be joining their team. This proves to be an exciting development for Google as Snapseed, Nik's mobile-photo editing app currently only available on iOS, is often compared to Facebook's latest acquisition, Instagram, due to its comprehensive editing capabilities.
Does this mean that we may finally see Snapseed on Android devices? One can only hope.
