Attention Nikon 1 users: Nikon has released firmware updates for the 1 Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 and 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6, as well as a software update for Short Movie Creator.
The 1.10 update will allow the respective lenses to turn off a Nikon 1 camera (released on, or after, August 2012) by locking the retractable lens barrel button, even if the camera is on standby mode.
The Short Movie Creator Update will increase the display speeds of NEF and NRW files and also allow you to change the order of registered music files with simple drag-and-drop operation.
