The Current State of Photography

It's been some time since we discussed the current state of things...photography mostly. We're are we now and where are we going? Trends "hipster photography" "how do I get this look" larger sensors in smaller devices R7, Nokia Lumia mobile, larger aperture iphone no nonsense, just camera   too many increments as usual and not enough motivation to innovate.
