For me, music is everything. It's my life and soul. It influences my every sense and impacts my mood and feelings. I'll even go as far as to say that music is the very reason for my existence. Without music my life has no meaning. So, when something as abstract as music plays such a perceptive role in shaping my life, isn't it obvious that I'll settle for nothing but the best when it comes to selecting my sound appliances. For this very reason, Sennheiser has always been my first choice with regards to everything pertaining to sound equipments. I'm ready to stick my neck out and vouch that no other brand comes even close to competing with Sennheiser in terms of sound quality, audio output, music control, and overall listening pleasure. To put it in the most straightforward manner, Sennheiser is the yardstick against which all other audio equipment brands can be measured. Today I'm going to talk about the Sennheiser HD 700 headphones and why am I so upbeat about this latest electronic marvel from Sennheiser.
Just like its erstwhile models, the HD 700 also possesses a unique and exemplary sound signature. The HD 700 is what you get when Sennheiser's hugely popular HD 650 and its classy HD 800 headphones mate and produce a love child. It's integrated with exactly the same tone of the HD 650 and is engineered with a bass output similar to that of the HD 800. The treble and mids of these headphone are exceptionally crisp and smooth. They work well synthesizers, guitars, and pianos, and derive the best output from these instruments. They are designed in a fully open manner and don't occlude most of the external noise, but that has to be expected in such high-tech audiophile headphones. Another great advantage of the HD 700 as far as sound quality is concerned is the less amount of power they require, since they operate using a 150 ? impedance. In stark contrast, most high-tech headphones need huge amounts of operating power. By combining the best qualities of two well-loved headphones and then incorporating some marvelous new features, the Sennheiser HD 700 headphones gets two thumbs up from me in the sound department. Akin to the HD 800, these headphones too, flaunt a design of futuristic standards. Plus, they are markedly lighter than the HD 800. The materials used to construct the HD 700 are of high quality and ensure that the headphones have a long life. Moreover, the materials used are exceedingly stylish in appearance and they give a very sleek and contemporary look to the headphones. The materials are also known to blend well with each other in order to derive the maximum sound quality for your music experience. This pertains to the design of the HD 700. Let's now shed some light on its comfort factors. The headphones are a nice and easy grip, as they are generally designed for personal use. The ear cups feature deep ear channels, which ensure that you don't perspire from your ears in case you use these headphones for a long duration. The headband is made from supple rubber and has a decent amount of thick padding on its inside. This enables it to rest conveniently on your cranium, making it one of the most comfortable headbands to ever emerge on the headphone circuit. Furthermore, the entire design of the HD 700 has a nice, flexible feel it to it. So, with regards to design and comfort, the Sennheiser HD 700 gets another two thumbs up from me. Here are some unique and advanced features of the HD 700, which make these headphones all the more special: 1. It is engineered with one of the widest frequency ranges available (10 to 42,000 Hz). 2. The angled transducer mimics the positioning of a set of reference monitors. 3. An innovative attribute known as the Duo Fol diaphragm provides a wide sound stage with ultra-fast response and rest times. 4. These headphones are also equipped with a patent-pending ventilated magnet system that serves to manage airflow for extremely low THD. 5. It has a specialty steel mesh molded to the natural shape of the acoustic chamber. 6. The HD 700 comes with a special vibration damping frame that eradicates unnecessary resonances from making their way inside the acoustic chamber. These six features themselves merit a rousing round of applause for the Sennheiser HD 700. Along with the features mentioned above, the HD 700 is also equipped with several more commonly revered features from the Sennheiser bandwagon. My final verdict is that Sennheiser has done a fabulous job with the HD 700. It makes a valuable addition to the Sennheiser family and is sure to rule the headphones scene for years to come. The Sennheiser HD 700 isn't just one of the best headphones to emerge from the Sennheiser label, it's quite simply one of the best headphones ever, making it a must-have for all music aficionados.
