Some photo samples: Sample 1 Sample 2 Sample 3

Some quick specualtions on it thus far (by Nick): It's basically 18% thinner than the previous model wrapped in a glass and aluminum casing (comes in black and white, oh boy!) Sounds even more fragile. They're claiming 8 hours 3G talk, 225 hours standby, 10 hours wi-fi browsing, 8 hours LTE browsing. It must have been a challenge making it this thin with a battery in mind...despite its actual battery life. On top of that there's ANOTHER new adapter. Say so long to the old 30 pin adapter - Say hello to Lighting - All-Digital, 8 Signal Design, adaptive interface, Improved durability, reversible, easier to use. So lets talk camera: Dynamic low light mode, precision lens alignment, SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL -- someone must be really creative with all these names. I'm guessing similar to the color sampling like in the Nokia Pureview, it will combine pixels in the dark, which gives you up to two f stops better performance in low light. Impressive. Combined with spatial noise reduction, 40% faster photo capture, and a smart filter that does better color matching, maybe this camera might be a low light contender after all. You can take a 28MP panorama from an iPhone 5 camera, which is going to make for a lot of fun Facebook cover photos. They've made a big deal about the sample pictures being "untouched," most likely because of Nokia's latest fiasco last week. Video is also getting an upgrade; 1080p but with better stabilization and facial recognition. Front facing cam is now 720p. You can also do FaceTime video calls over cellular officially. They've announced a new feature called Shared Photo Streams in iOS 6 and iCloud where you can share photos with friends...sounds a little like the Galaxy's Buddy Photo Share with a little instagram mixed in. You basically take a pic, your friends get notifications that it's there to be commented on and liked.
