STEVE VACCARIELLO's vivid, sensual - sometimes disturbing - portraits capture the unexpected in his subjects. It's the moment most often overlooked that Vaccariello interprets and immortalizes on film. With suggestive lighting, evocative shadowing, and unique printing techniques, his work explores the idea of ethereal and evocative beauty, the nuances of form, and the subtleties and extremes of physical expression. "My work draws upon - but transcends - my experiences," he continues. "I'm a purist at heart - camera, light, and composition - striving for that look of unique, but timeless beauty."
