Join Tamron's Ken Hubbard as he discusses Exploring Digital Black & White. He will demonstrate techniques using both Photoshop and Nik Sliver Efex Pro, helping you create the best possible B&W images.
This seminar will also discuss the importance of shooting in Adobe RGB color and RAW file modes, what does and does not make a good B&W Image. Other subjects discussed will be, understanding the difference between tonal & contrast range, why you may encounter banding as well as many other subjects.
Ken will also teach you printing techniques for digital B&W images, which will include printer and paper selection.
ABOUT INSTRUCTOR KEN HUBBARD
Ken Hubbard is the Field Services Manager for Tamron. He is responsible for the companys events, including Tamrons popular consumer workshop series. Ken has had nationwide gallery showings of his portrait and landscape photography and teaches enthusiasts how to take better photos at numerous events. Kens extensive background in the field of photography is unique and diverse. He has travelled extensively throughout the United States and the result is a consistent output of breathtaking photographs that continually challenge the boundaries of the genre.

Please upload a JPEG image. Resize photographs to under 8MB per photo before submitting.
DO NOT include watermarks on photographs — images with watermarks will be disqualified from entry.
Winners will be announced one week after the deadline on Instagram @UniquePhoto.
