The Cyanotype process, also known as Sun Printing, is one of the oldest photographic processes dating back to 1842. It is named for the deep, Prussian blue tones of the print. Combining potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate creates a light-sensitive emulsion that is reactive to UV light. Using objects, plants, or negatives to block light and create the image, the cyanotype is an extremely accessible photographic process that can yield amazing results in a short amount of time with no camera!

Free RSVP and stop by the tent outside to see Kaitlyn Dougher live demo this process! Some lucky attendees may also leave with some of their own cyanotypes.
