CS: Infrared Photography with Thibault Roland (Sony)

Class Code:
UUUCS8357
Skill Level:
@ Unique Photo PHILLY, PA

Infrared photography is a technique that allows us to discover the world we live in under a different light – literally. It modifies tonalities and contrasts in an image. It captures unique looking images where foliage and other forms of vegetation turn white.

In this lecture, Sony Artisan of Imagery Thibault Roland will use his own work to present the concepts behind infrared photography, and how it can entirely transform your work. He'll discuss some of the options to consider even before pressing the shutter trigger, as well as the equipment needed to capture these unique looking images. You'll learn the different ways to obtain the infrared effect, and what options are available for you to shoot in infrared. The goal of this presentation is to demystify infrared photography and help you decide which approach is best for you, so you can use the technique to take unique-looking and striking images.
