It takes more than a great eye to be a wedding photographer. You also need the right business skills to make sure your passion for photography yields an exciting and profitable career. This high-energy seminar with Moshe starts you on the path toward developing a wedding photography business the right way, or serves as a tune-up for those trying to kick into higher gear.

Topics include: basics for laying the foundation for a successful operation, how to increase your profile, improved marketing, and booking more (higher-paying) clients.

Moshe Zusman, owner of Moshe Zusman Photography, has more than seven years’ experience as a professional photographer. During that time he has done hundreds of wedding, event, corporate, portrait and fashion shoots in the Washington, D.C., area and worldwide.

Moshe’s highly regarded work has earned him accolades, including the WeddingWire Brides Choice Award in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Posing and Lighting Workshop with Hanson Fong

Join Canon Explorer of Light Hanson Fong for a live demonstration of the 10 classic poses that he pioneered and mastered. These poses will assist you in posing any person, regardless of weight and/or height. His techniques will enable you how to pose any couple, family grouping, or a bridal couple.

He will then discuss lighting techniques. You will learn how to photograph under any lighting condition -- indoors or outdoors, any place, anytime. His approach to finding the light is simple and uncomplicated.

Hanson Fong is globally recognized as one of the premier wedding and portrait photographers in the industry. With more than 30 years of experience, Hanson has earned the Photographic Degrees of Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman. He has been awarded 3 Photographic Fellowships. In 2008, he received the distinguished Gerhardt Bakker award for outstanding service through education in the field of photography. He is a member of the prestigious Society of XXV. Hanson is also a proud member of Canon’s Explorers of Light.

How to Get Your Prints to Match Your Monitor with Jeff Lazell

Nothing can be more frustrating than perfecting your landscape image on screen and then getting a disappointing print from your printer or back from your lab. Join host Jeff Lazell as he takes you from capture to edit to output and explains the tips, gear and techniques to ensure you get a beautiful print that reflects the image on your monitor.

Jeff will cover color and exposure at capture, creating and using monitor and printer profiles and the soft-proofing process for some of Ilford’s new Fine Art papers so that you can produce great prints every time.

He wants to capture the feeling of what he sees and invite the viewer to enter each image and take time to explore. He has been very fortunate to travel to many beautiful locations and experience both the small details and the majesty of great vistas.

Specializing in portrait photography, Ryan Brown will give his insight into photographing senior portraits in a variety of styles.

Models will be present for demonstration during the workshop.

Ryan Brown has been photographing weddings and portraits domestically and internationally for 8 years. Ryan earned a B.S. in Photography from Central Missouri State University. Ryan’s certifications include Certified Professional Photographer, Certified Wedding Photographer and Certified Stock Photographer. Ryan's degrees include Master of Photography, Master Artist, and the degree of Photographic Craftsmen. His recent awards include 2010 Regional Master Photographer of the Year, 2006-2012 International Photographer of the Year, Fuji Masterpiece and Kodak Gallery Awards, and in 2010 Ryan won the Canon Par Excellence award from Canon. In 2012 Ryan was accepted as an International Juror for the renowned IPC competition. Ryan joined Sigma as Technical Representative in 2012.
