About
I picked up my first camera—a Canon AE-1—right after high school and never really put it down. What started with film, darkrooms, and long hours learning how light actually works turned into a lifelong obsession with storytelling. I went on to study photography in college, developing my own work by hand in the darkroom, where I learned to slow down and really see. That foundation still shapes everything I do today, even in a fast-paced digital world. I’m now the owner and creative director of BeauMonde Originals, a Philadelphia-based photography studio, where I’ve spent over 15 years photographing weddings, events, and people in motion. But my work goes far beyond that. I travel often, using photography as a way to connect with people and communities around the world. Whether I’m leading empowerment workshops with women in India, documenting everyday life in Africa, or capturing moments of protest and resistance here at home, my camera is a tool for both storytelling and social impact. Photography, for me, has never just been about images—it’s about visibility, dignity, and connection. Every frame is an opportunity to say: you matter, your story matters. Because at the end of the day, I believe that until all of us are seen, none of us are seen.
