I have older Minolta Maxxum lenses and want to know which current or newer digital camera bodies can use them. Can they mount directly on any DSLR/SLT bodies, and are there mirrorless options with an adapter? Also, will APS-C bodies change the field of view compared with full frame?

Yes, there are. Any digital camera with an A-mount will accept them directly. The Sony A68 is the latest such model and uses an APS-C sensor so it will crop the field of view by 1.5X, meaning all your lenses will become less wide but they will still work. To preserve the field-of-view, you can use a full-frame model such as the Sony SLT-A99V.
There is another good option and that is to with a Sony E-mount mirrorless camera and an additional adapter. These some in two varieties and coverage-size, one with Phase-Detect AF which will allow the camera to also perform autofocus with your Maxxum lenses. Some newer models can do it without the Phase-Detect adapter because they have built-in Phase-Detect AF.

Yes. Minolta Maxxum lenses use the A-mount, so Sony A-mount digital bodies can use them directly. That includes Sony DSLR/SLT A-mount cameras such as the A68, and full-frame A-mount models such as the A99-series.
If you use an APS-C A-mount body, your lenses still work, but the field of view is cropped by about 1.5x compared with full frame, so wide-angle lenses will appear less wide. A full-frame A-mount body preserves the original field of view.
Another option is a Sony E-mount mirrorless body with an A-mount adapter. Some adapters support phase-detect autofocus, and some newer E-mount bodies can provide better AF support with compatible adapters.
So, for direct mounting, look at Sony A-mount bodies. For mirrorless, use a Sony E-mount camera plus the appropriate A-mount adapter.
