I bought a Beston lens at an estate sale and want to use it on my Canon Rebel XS. From the rear mount photos, I’m trying to identify the mount type so I can get the correct adapter. What mount is it, and what adapter would I need for a Canon EOS/EF-S camera body?

It appears to be an early Pentax "K" mount. The recessed Aperture Simulator slot opposite the Aperture control lever is the clue. This slot is clearly visible in your first photo.
There are lots of inexpensive adapters available to mount Pentax "K" mount lenses on your Canon EOS Rebel XS. This one costs about $15.

Based on the mount details shown, it appears to be an early Pentax K-mount lens. The key clue is the recessed aperture simulator slot opposite the aperture control lever.
To use it on a Canon Rebel XS, you’d need a Pentax K to Canon EOS/EF/EF-S adapter. Since the Rebel XS uses the Canon EF/EF-S mount, that’s the adapter family to look for.
Keep in mind that with an adapted manual lens like this, you’ll typically be focusing manually, and depending on the adapter/lens combination, aperture operation may also be manual.
