I want a camera phone that focuses quickly and can take sharp photos without waiting several seconds. On my current phone, autofocus is slow indoors and in low light, and if I move the phone or subject I have to wait again for focus. Which camera features or specs should I look for to get faster autofocus and better low-light focusing?

So which feature should I look for if I want good quality zoomed videos/pictures?

Lens with Optical Zoom.
Smartphones do not generally have it except a few like Galaxy Camera.

which feature in camera called which gives quick focus?

Phase Detection Auto Focus.
It is very rare in smartphones, Pixel XL is an example.
Moto G4 Plus is another example in mid-range.

It is difficult to extract any more information from specifications because of how boastful OEMs are and because they are generally not doing any practical comparisons with anything else. Make your judgmenet based on trusted review sources.

For fast focusing on a phone, the main spec to look for is phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), which is designed to lock focus more quickly than basic contrast-detect systems. Focus speed often gets worse indoors or in dim light, so low-light performance matters too.

A wider-aperture lens can help because it lets in more light, which generally improves focusing reliability and speed in darker scenes. In practice, though, phone makers’ spec sheets can be hard to compare directly, and marketing claims are often not very useful.

So the best approach is:

  • Look for phones that explicitly list PDAF.
  • Prefer cameras with a wider aperture for better low-light performance.
  • Check trusted review sources that test autofocus speed in real use, especially indoors and in low light.

If you also care about zoomed photos or videos, optical zoom is the feature to look for, though it is uncommon on many smartphones.
