Viewfinder autofocus stopped working after a drop, but Live View still focuses

I dropped my camera, and since then autofocus no longer works when shooting through the viewfinder. In Live View/LCD mode, autofocus still works and the photos look fine. I have already reset the camera settings, but that did not help. Is there anything else I should try, or does this likely need repair?

Chances are one or both mirrors have been knocked out of alignment... best to get it serviced.

If autofocus works in Live View but not through the viewfinder after a fall, the drop likely damaged or misaligned part of the DSLR phase-detect AF path, such as the mirror system. A settings reset usually will not fix that.
