I need to align two photos of the same scene that were taken from slightly different angles, similar to the alignment step used before creating an HDR image. Is there an online tool for this, or is there other software that can do it?

Never seen this online, it takes a LOT of processing power.
There is a free one that comes with Hugin tough. It is called align_image_stack.

Online options are uncommon for this because image alignment is fairly processing-intensive. A commonly recommended free offline tool is align_image_stack, which comes with Hugin. It’s designed to align multiple images of the same scene and is often used for HDR-style preprocessing.
