Is the Epson R1900 paper feed reliable for larger sheets and roll paper?

I’m considering replacing an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 because I’ve had problems with sheets skewing when printing larger sizes. Before ordering an Epson R1900, I’d like to know whether its paper loading/feed mechanism handles larger media reliably.

Has anyone used the R1900 with 13x19 sheets or roll paper, and does it feed straight without skewing?

I've had an R1900 for about 2 years, and have printed roll paper in both 8.3" and 13" widths, and 13x19 sheets with no problems,

Based on the community feedback, the Epson R1900 appears to handle larger media reliably. One owner reported using the printer for about two years and successfully printing on both 8.3-inch and 13-inch roll paper, as well as 13x19 sheets, with no problems.

That suggests the R1900’s paper feed is capable of handling larger formats without the skew issues you experienced on the Stylus Photo 1400. As with any printer, careful paper alignment and using media within the supported specifications still matter, but the shared experience is positive for larger prints and roll media.
