I installed Magic Lantern on my Canon 5D Mark III (firmware 1.2.3), but I only see extra overlays in video mode and can’t find the timelapse controls. How can I use Magic Lantern as a timer/intervalometer to shoot a timelapse sequence?

If you've installed ML correctly, the trash button activates the Magic Lantern menus.

If you go into the Shoot menu, you'll find the Intervalometer settings. The Func button then lets you modify the intervalometer settings. That will let you take stills at set intervals, which you can then combine into a timelapse video in post processing.

On the 5D Mark III, if Magic Lantern is installed correctly, press the trash/delete button to open the Magic Lantern menu.

From there, go to the Shoot menu and find Intervalometer. Use the Func button to change the intervalometer settings, such as the shooting interval. Magic Lantern will then trigger the camera to capture still images automatically at those intervals.

For a timelapse, you typically shoot a sequence of still photos first, then assemble them into a video later in post-processing.
