How do I reset the seconds when setting the time on a Pentax K-5?

I want the timestamps on my Pentax K-5 photos to be as accurate as possible. In the camera's date/time menu I can set the hour and minute, but I don't see a way to enter seconds. When I finish setting the clock, does the camera reset the seconds to 00, and if so, at what point should I confirm the setting to get an accurate time?

Page 68 of the K-5 Operating Manual states the following:
...
9. Press the four-way controller (▼) to select [Settings complete].
10. Press the OK button.
...
When you press the OK button in Step 10, the seconds value is set to 0. To set the exact time, press the OK button when the time signal (on the TV, radio, etc.) reaches 0 seconds.
In other words, the seconds value is set to 0 when you press OK on the "Settings Complete" button.

Yes. On the Pentax K-5, the seconds are reset to 00 when you confirm the date/time setting.
According to the K-5 manual, after selecting Settings complete, pressing OK sets the seconds value to zero. So to get the most accurate clock setting, prepare the correct hour and minute first, then press OK exactly when your reference time signal reaches 00 seconds (for example, using a radio, TV, phone, or other accurate clock).
In short: you don’t enter seconds manually; the camera zeroes them when you finalize the setting.
