How can I find a Darktable image file on my computer?

In Darktable, I’m viewing an image and want to locate the original file in Finder or File Explorer. Since there doesn’t seem to be an “open in finder/explorer” command, how can I see or copy the image’s full file path?

The full path to the image should be shown in the "image information" tab on the left

Darktable shows the file location in the image information panel on the left. If the panel is wide enough, you can read the full path there.
If the path is truncated, select it and copy it instead. On Windows, users report you can right-click, choose Select All, then Ctrl+C to copy the full path. You can then paste that path into File Explorer or use it to navigate to the file manually.
So while Darktable may not offer a direct “reveal in file manager” command, the file path is available from the image information panel.
