How can I copy a layer group from one Photoshop document to another?

I have several images with mostly the same settings. In one Photoshop file, I created a group containing a few layers, mostly adjustment layers, and I want to apply that same group to my other images. What’s the best way to copy or move an entire layer group from one document to another?

Open both documents select the group you want to move and now you have 2 options:
- Right-click on the group (in the layers tab) and click "Duplicate Group..." Under "Destination" change the value "Document" with the target document (the one that will receive the Group). The layers will be aligned to TOP-LEFT.
- Drag and drop group of layers in the second document. The layers will be placed under the mouse cursor.

Yes. In Photoshop you can transfer an entire layer group between open documents in either of these ways:
- Select the group in the Layers panel, right-click it, choose Duplicate Group..., and set the Destination Document to the other open file.
- Or open both documents and drag the group from the Layers panel into the other document.
A practical tip: drag-and-drop is often easier if the documents aren’t shown as tabs. Try Window > Arrange > Cascade so both files are visible.
Placement may differ depending on the method: duplicating places the layers aligned from the top-left, while dragging places them where you drop the mouse. If needed, reposition the group after copying.
