I want to read the shutter count on a Canon EOS 6D Mark II using a Windows PC, preferably with a free tool. Is there a Windows-compatible way to do this?

http://www.eosmsg.com/ works on Windows PC but costs about $5.00 USD. It is a Chinese website so the language and translations are a little "clunky", but it does work.

A community-tested option for Windows is EOSMSG, which can read the shutter count from a Canon EOS 6D Mark II when the camera is connected to a PC. It is not free, but it is inexpensive (around $5 according to the community answer). One caveat mentioned is that the website/interface translations are a bit rough, but the tool does work.
Based on the answers provided, no confirmed free Windows tool was identified.
