How can I align multiple photos so the background stays fixed?

I took three photos of the same subject jumping, but the camera moved slightly between shots. I want to combine or compare them so the background appears stationary instead of shifting. I have Lightroom and Photoshop available. What is the best way to align the images?

A simple way to do this is stacking the 3 images as layers, and then setting some transparency to them, so you can move them a bit.
I would use the keyboard to move them one pixel at a time and using a zoom of 100 or 200%.
There is a feature that could help: Edit > Auto-align layers
Always work on a copy of the files.
