How can I add a print-buying option to my own photo website?

I host my own photo gallery and want visitors to be able to order prints directly from my site, ideally via an embeddable HTML/JavaScript button or widget next to each image. A language-neutral or multilingual option would be a plus.

Are there print fulfillment services that work well for this setup, either as a simple embedded storefront or through an API for a more custom integration?

Have a look at FotoMoto as they integrate with a lot software and have an API for custom environments. Not sure on the language front though.

Yes. Based on the suggestions given, you have two main approaches:

  1. Embedded/widget service: FotoMoto was recommended specifically because it integrates with many platforms and also offers an API for custom environments. This is the closest match to a plug-in “buy a print” feature on your own site.

  2. API-based fulfillment: Pwinty was recommended if you’re comfortable doing some coding. It provides a REST API for print ordering, while you handle the storefront, billing, and customer experience. This gives you the most control and can be branded so the third party stays invisible to customers.

Other options mentioned were RedBubble and Photobox Pro Galleries, but those sound more like hosted marketplace/gallery solutions and may be less suitable if your priority is a seamless buy button on your own site.

So if you want the simplest integration, start with FotoMoto. If you want full control over language, checkout flow, and branding, an API-based service like Pwinty is likely the better fit.
