Do I need a separate ballast for each Kino Flo 4Bank 4' fixture?

I'm considering buying four Kino Flo 4Bank 4' Fixture Only units and want to know whether a single Kino Flo Mega 4Bank DMX Ballast (120V) can run all four fixtures, or if each fixture needs its own ballast. Would I also need separate head cables or other accessories to connect everything?

As far as I can determine, you need one ballast per 4Bank (one ballast channel per lamp, four lamps per bank) and one cable to connect the two. So for four 4Bank fixtures, you need four ballast units and four cables.
See the 4Bank page at kinoflow.com for more.

You should plan on one ballast per 4Bank fixture, not one ballast for all four fixtures. A 4Bank fixture uses a ballast channel arrangement intended for that single bank, so four 4Bank heads would require four ballast units total. You would also need a separate head cable to connect each fixture to its ballast. In short: for four 4Bank fixtures, expect to need four compatible ballasts and four connecting cables. Check the exact Kino Flo fixture/ballast compatibility chart before buying, but based on the setup described, one Mega 4Bank ballast would not run four separate 4Bank fixtures.
