Can the Fujifilm X100F tether to a Mac for shooting or live view?

I’m trying to find out whether a Fujifilm X100F can be tethered to a Mac for capture or remote live view. I’ve already checked Fujifilm X Acquire and found that, on the X100F, it appears to only back up and restore camera settings rather than provide tethered shooting. Lightroom’s tethering plug-in also doesn’t list the X100F as supported. Has anyone confirmed whether tethering is actually possible with this camera, either through Fujifilm software or third-party apps?

CaptureOne is another program that supports tethering and live view of just about every camera that supports that functionality. According to their Fuji camera support page, it doesn't appear the X100F supports tethering or remote live view:

Model Version Added Required Run Modes File Support Tethered/Live View Notes Fujifilm X100F 10.0.2 Express Fujifilm/Fujifilm/Pro RAF No/No Xtrans to DNG not supported

Based on CaptureOne's inability to support it, my guess is that the X100F inherently doesn't support tethering or tethered live view, at least for any 3rd party solutions.

Based on the information shared, the X100F does not appear to support true tethered shooting or remote live view on a Mac.

Capture One’s Fuji support list shows the X100F as supported for RAF file handling, but specifically lists tethering and live view as “No/No.” That strongly suggests the camera itself does not provide the tethering functionality needed by third-party software.

Fujifilm X Acquire is also not a full tethering solution for the X100F; for this model it’s used to save and restore camera settings, not to control capture or stream live view.

So the practical answer is: no, not for standard USB tethered capture/live view workflows. A workaround like a Wi-Fi SD card may help transfer files after shooting, but that is not the same as real tethered shooting.
