Can Nikon Z or Canon EOS R cameras quickly switch storage folders with a custom button?

I’m comparing Nikon Z50/Z6-series bodies with the Canon EOS R/RP and want to organize different shoots in separate folders on the memory card. Do either Nikon Z or Canon EOS R bodies let you assign storage-folder selection to a customizable button for quick switching in the field? If not, what’s the fastest built-in method on each system?

For Nikon Z, the fastest way seems to be:
- Add "Storage folder" to "My menu" and move it to the top
- Assign "Access top item in MY MENU" to an fn button
You then get the "Storage folder" menu with one button press. You still have to navigate the menu to select a folder from the list (down, left, select, ok).
I did not find a way to directly assign a specific folder to a button.

Not as a true one-press direct folder switch, based on the answers provided.
For Nikon Z bodies, the quickest workaround is to add Storage folder to My Menu, move it to the top, and assign Access top item in My Menu to an Fn button. That gives fast access, but you still need to navigate the folder list and confirm your choice.
For Canon EOS R-series bodies such as the EOS R, there doesn’t appear to be a direct custom-button assignment for folder switching either. The practical shortcut is to place Record func+card/folder sel. in My Menu for quicker access. Higher-end Canon 1-series bodies have more direct file/folder controls, but that does not generally apply to EOS R/RP-style bodies.
So for both systems, the answer is essentially: no direct programmable button to switch to a specific folder, but My Menu shortcuts can make the process faster.
