Can Lightroom copy an image’s full edit history to another photo?

In Lightroom 4.4, when I copy and paste edits from one image to another, only the current settings are transferred. The History panel for the destination photo does not retain the original sequence of edits or presets used.

Is there any built-in way, or any plugin, that can copy the full edit history from one photo to another instead of just the final settings? I’d like to preserve the list of applied presets and adjustment steps.

There is no such a feature now, but you can vote for it on Adobe site, where a user proposed this feature over two years ago.

No. In Lightroom 4.4, copying edits transfers the resulting settings, not the source photo’s History panel entries. Lightroom does not provide a built-in way to duplicate the full edit history from one image to another, and based on the community response there was no such feature available at that time.

So if your goal is to see the exact sequence of presets and edits on the new photo, Lightroom cannot do that; only the final develop settings can be copied.
