I currently use a Canon EOS Rebel T2i and am considering upgrading to a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Will all of my current Canon lenses work on the 5D Mark II, or are there any compatibility limits I should know about?

Not all T2i lenses will work properly on a 5D Mark II. The key issue is sensor format: the T2i is an APS-C camera, while the 5D Mark II is full-frame.
Canon EF lenses are compatible with both cameras, so those can be used on the 5D Mark II.
Canon EF-S lenses are designed only for APS-C bodies like the T2i and are not compatible with the 5D Mark II. They should not be mounted on a full-frame Canon DSLR.
So if your current lenses are all EF, you’re fine. If any are EF-S, you’ll need to replace those for use on the 5D Mark II. Check the lens label or model name: Canon usually marks them clearly as EF or EF-S.
