I’m new to using filters and lens hoods. I want to use my Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 Micro Four Thirds lens for landscape photography, but I thought it didn’t have front threads for a filter. Does this lens support filters, and if so, what size do I need?

Some lenses do not have filter threads, but the front of your lens does have 46mm filter threads. 46mm is not a very common size but you can order filters for it.

Yes. The Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 does have front filter threads, and the size is 46mm. That means you can attach any standard 46mm screw-in filter, such as a circular polarizer or UV filter, directly to the lens.
46mm is a less common filter size than some others, so your choice of filters may be a bit more limited, but they are available. Check the lens markings or specifications to confirm the thread size before buying.
