Can a Nikon PK-11A extension tube control aperture with Nikon G lenses?

I use a Nikon D3200 with Nikon G lenses, including the 35mm f/1.8G and kit lenses. Can the Nikon PK-11A extension tube be used with these lenses while still allowing aperture control, or will the lens stay at its default aperture setting? I noticed the tube appears to have a lever, so I’m unsure whether it can transmit aperture control for G-type lenses.

- I personally don't see the lever you mean on any picture I found.
- The lever might only be used to switch the aperture to a completely open state for measuring the exposure. I am not completely aware whether G lenses get the aperture set mechanically or completely electronically from the camera.

says there is no transfer of aperture for G lenses with the PK-11a
Find a workaround here: Is there a way to adjust the aperture of a Nikon lens without a camera or physical aperture ring?

No—the Nikon PK-11A does not provide aperture control for Nikon G lenses. G lenses do not have an aperture ring, so they need the camera body or a compatible accessory to mechanically/electronically control the aperture. The PK-11A is not designed to transfer that control for G lenses, so aperture adjustment will not remain functional in normal use.
The lever you noticed is not a full G-lens aperture-control mechanism. In practice, with a PK-11A, a G lens will not give you normal adjustable aperture control through the tube.
If you want to use extension tubes with G lenses and keep aperture control, look for extension tubes specifically made to maintain lens/body communication and aperture actuation.
